Responsibilities Monitor and analyze regulatory, legal, sanctions, and macro policy developments across jurisdictions to ensure business compliance Provide practical compliance advice to business teams on sanctions, AML/CFT, and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks Develop and enhance compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with internal standards and regulatory expectations Review new business initiatives, transactions, and projects to identify compliance risks and deliver actionable recommendations Design and conduct compliance training programs to raise awareness and strengthen the compliance culture organization-wide Support internal investigations, compliance reviews, and risk assessments to uphold regulatory standards Collaborate with stakeholders across trading, operations, and management to implement effective compliance controls and processes Required competencies and certifications Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Compliance, or related discipline Minimum 5 years of compliance experience in banking, financial institutions, or commodities trading environments Strong knowledge of sanctions, AML/CFT, and regulatory frameworks Analytical skills to assess complex regulatory issues and provide sound compliance advice Stakeholder management skills to work effectively across multiple functions High integrity, attention to detail, and accountability in compliance matters Proficiency in English and Mandarin to liaise with stakeholders and headquarters Why Join Join a well-established global energy trading platform with a strong regional presence Gain exposure to cross-border regulatory and compliance matters Work closely with senior stakeholders and business teams Experience a dynamic, fast-paced environment with strong career development opportunities
