Position Summary
Internships are Monday through Friday for 40 hours a week. Operations Interns will work with our ITAD (Information Technology Asset Disposition) team to assist in all aspects of operations, including product receiving, inventory control, quality testing and shipping.
Responsibilities
Learn how to use vendor required/specific software to test peripherals (LCD screens, processors, motherboards, memory, hard drives, etc) Organize, test, troubleshoot, repair and catalogue electronic hardware (servers, workstations, network equipment, computers and spare parts) Erase existing data from storage devices and reset devices to original factory specifications Provide updates to the status of purchase orders and expedite orders as necessary Adhere to all ESD requirements and recycling policies
Qualifications
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations, electrical engineering or a related field Ability to work independently, multitask and communicate well in a deadline dependent environment Participation in extracurricular activities to demonstrate time management and multitasking skills
