Accountant (GST, GL, SAP), Singapore

Our client, a prominent and well-established US MNC in the manufacturing industry, is looking to strengthen their finance team by hiring a Financial Accountant. This role is responsible for managing the complete spectrum of accounting activities, ensuring strong financial controls, operational efficiency, and compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain a full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and month-end closing activities.
Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Perform GST filings, tax computations, and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Handle applications, tracking, and reporting for government grants and related compliance matters.
Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and relevant stakeholders to support audit and reporting requirements.
Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within finance operations.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with CA qualification preferred.
3-5 years of relevant experience handling a full set of accounts, ideally within an MNC environment.
Strong knowledge of GST, tax compliance, and financial reporting processes.
