Fraud Risk Analyst, Strategy & Analytics - Payment, Singapore

Job Description
Design and implement business risk management policies for ShopeePay to ensure sustainable growth and compliance. Establish key performance indicators and fraud detection metrics to monitor potential risk exposures, regularly reviewing and optimizing mitigation strategies. Collaborate with Local teams to consolidate and refine system and operational requirements. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to guide implementation plans and ensure timely delivery. Conduct data-driven analyses of daily risk exposure, presenting actionable insights and recommendations to senior management. Evaluate business operations and market dynamics to assess competitive positioning and identify emerging risks or opportunities. Develop and maintain analytical reports and dashboards to track performance, highlight anomalies, and drive continuous improvement of policies and processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field. 2+ years relevant experience in risk management, fraud prevention, payments, financial services, or e-commerce. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience in data management and statistical analysis. Proficiency in SQL and Python. Proven ability to transform data insights into actionable strategies that drive tangible business impact Able to navigate ambiguity and complexity while driving initiatives toward clear, quantifiable results Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify data inconsistencies or anomalies. Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Prior experience in e-wallets, payments, banking, or e-commerce industries is an advantage.
