(What the role is)
Coordinate and implement initiatives that support scholar development and student engagement through the NYP Scholarship Program and Student Life Academy (SLA). This role focuses on delivering impactful learning experiences, fostering mentorship, and managing events with a data-driven approach for continuous improvement.
(What you will be working on)
Plan and execute developmental activities such as workshops, mock interviews, leadership programs, and networking sessions to prepare scholars for scholarship interviews and university admissions. Engage and onboard mentors, including alumni and industry professionals, and maintain strong relationships to support scholar development. Collaborate with educational institutions and industry partners to provide scholars and students with real-world projects, preparatory courses, and certifications. Coordinate and deliver SLA programs and events that promote leadership, personal growth, and student engagement. Manage logistics, communications, and procurement administration for all activities to ensure smooth operations. Develop and maintain dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to track KPIs, evaluate program effectiveness, and support data-driven decision-making. Gather feedback and analyze data to refine strategies and improve outcomes for both scholarship and SLA initiatives. Adapt to dynamic work requirements and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Relevant qualification in Education, Training & Development, Event Management, Business Administration, or related fields. Possesses strong ability to engage, onboard, and maintain relationships with mentors, and industry partners. Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with diverse stakeholders and delivering impactful presentations. Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment with evolving needs. Demonstrates proven experience in planning and executing programs or events, including managing logistics, procurement processes, and stakeholder coordination. Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI to create dashboards, track KPIs, and support data-driven decision-making. Displays an innovative mindset to design engagement strategies and improve program effectiveness, with comfort in using digital tools for event management and reporting. Familiarity with scholarship interview preparation, university admissions processes, and leadership development programs is an advantage.
