Key Responsibilities Oversee the team of registered and enrolled nurses, nursing aides, healthcare assistants. Responsible for compliance of all nursing standards as stipulated by Ministry of health (MOH) and Singapore Nursing Board (SNB). Promote evidence-based practices or nursing care delivery. Ensure written policies and procedures and work process are available and up to date to guide the nursing care delivery. Ensure the smooth transition of residents from acute to chronic care and back to the community, where possible. Direct care of the residents to ensure compliance to standards. Ensure appropriate skills mix and adequate manpower resourcing for all shifts and types of services. Facilitate staff development, skills and competency upgrading through various opportunities. These may include formal education, in-house training or approved online learning programmes. Guide orientation/induction programmes and preceptorship for all new staff. Support the DON in nursing home management. Qualifications Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse in Singapore (General/ Dementia/ Psychiatric) Valid nursing licensure with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) and appropriate certifications Bachelor's degree or diploma in nursing Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years of management experience & IPC trained
