Merchandise Designer, Singapore

Responsibilities Creative Design & Development: Design merchandise concepts based on IPs for Universal Studios Singapore, Singapore Oceanarium and Adventure Cove Waterpark. Conceptualize storyboards and develop design interpretations using style guides. Create exclusive style guides for special projects and product launches.
Licensing & Brand Compliance: Submit and pitch design concepts for licensor approval. Translate style guides and concepts into working files for merchandise production. Ensure designs comply with brand standards, legal line rules, and color code requirements.
Trend & Market Awareness: Identify new design and consumer trends to enhance merchandise assortment. Define target audiences for each key visual and design concept.
Collaboration & Execution: Work closely with the Product Development Team to translate designs into final products. Support other design-related duties as assigned.
Requirements Diploma in Visual Communication or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of product development experience. Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Familiar with IP/licensor collaboration and style guide usage. Knowledge of color codes and legal line requirements for licensed products. Creative, curious, and open to new ideas and insights. Able to work independently and manage multiple design tasks. Familiar with the system 'STRATA' to send artwork for Licensor's approval. Familiar with Style Guide . Able to work independently on designing. Creative, curious and open to ideas and insights.
