Senior Oracle Database Engineer, Singapore

We are looking for a skilled Oracle Database Engineer to join a leading financial services firm. You will manage, monitor, and optimize Oracle 12c/19c databases in a Linux environment, ensuring high availability and performance. The role covers database administration, tuning, backups, upgrades, and troubleshooting, with a focus on delivering reliable and efficient database solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Administer, configure, and optimize Oracle databases (12c/19c). Implement high availability solutions (RAC, Data Guard). Monitor database performance and tune SQL, memory, and storage. Perform backups, restores, upgrades, and patching. Troubleshoot issues with root cause analysis and provide solutions. Support audits and disaster recovery exercises, maintaining proper documentation.
Requirements: Strong experience with Oracle 12c/19c on Linux. Expertise in database performance tuning and high availability setups. Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with change/release management and audit compliance.
