Restaurant Manager, Singapore

Job Description: Manage day-to-day operations including opening and closing procedures. Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained. Monitor inventory and ensure sufficient stock of ingredients, beverages, and supplies. Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of goods. Ensure excellent customer experience by handling feedback, complaints, and special requests. Monitor service quality and dining experience. Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally. Recruit, train, and schedule restaurant staff including chefs, servers, and cleaners. Supervise and motivate team members to ensure performance standards are met. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching when needed. Manage budgets, sales targets, and daily cash handling. Prepare sales and expense reports. Control costs and optimize profits. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and local laws. Work with chefs to update or revise menu offerings when needed. Implement promotions, discounts, and special events to attract more customers. Understand Thai food culture and ensure authenticity in presentation and taste. Work with Stage Manager for the performance
Job Requirements: Proven experience in restaurant management, preferably in a Thai restaurant. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Thai cuisine, ingredients, and food preparation. Ability to work under pressure and multitask. Proficiency in basic computer applications (POS, MS Excel, etc.). Ability to speak Thai is an advantage to liaise with Thai speaking customers. Able to work night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
