LECTURER, NURSING - SCHOOL OF HEALTH SCIENCES, Singapore

(What the role is)
This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer, Nursing in the School of Health Sciences.
The position is full-time.
(What you will be working on)
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Plan, develop, and deliver lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions for Diploma and/or Specialist Diploma, Advanced Diploma courses in at least two of the following areas: Palliative Care Nursing Peri-operative Nursing Medical-Surgical Nursing Community Health Nursing Paediatric Nursing Geriatric Nursing Mental Health Nursing Nursing Research Integrated Nursing Science Pharmacology Implement the latest ICT-enabled learning pedagogies and support the development of these tools. Provide pastoral care to students to support learning. Support school's outreach efforts, students' local and overseas programmes. Support academic support duties and any other duties as assigned.
(What we are looking for)
A degree in nursing. At least 3 years' working experience in clinical and/or hospital setting in Singapore. Familiar with clinical practice at hospital wards and the teaching of the inter-relationship between normal body functioning and the underlying physiology, pathophysiological mechanism of diseases states and their pharmacological management is essential. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Additional Pre-requisites That Are Advantageous
Post- Graduate Diploma in Higher Education, Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) and/or Diploma in Adult Continuing Education (DACE).
