Hotel Technician, Singapore

Our client is a luxury 5-star city-centre hotel in Singapore, delivering exceptional hospitality services in a dynamic urban environment. Job Summary You will operate, maintain, and repair hotel systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. You will analyze utilities data, handle emergencies, supervise contractors, and support a service-oriented team environment. Responsibilities Operate, preventively maintain, and repair hotel systems, devices, controls, instruments, and equipment to ensure reliable functionality Comply with established procedures including Work Orders, Preventive Maintenance, Out-of-Order Rooms, and Emergency protocols Apply energy management practices to optimize resource use and reduce waste Analyze operating logs and utilities data to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions promptly Perform shift duties, maintain occurrence records, and take immediate measures as required Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, or retrofit of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and life safety systems Respond effectively to repair emergencies to minimize downtime and ensure safety Maintain building services and equipment according to standards and requirements through improvement, maintenance, and repair work Address complaints from hotel guests and internal departments with timely resolution Perform daily startup, shutdown, and inspection of building services and equipment to meet operational standards Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and perform engineering housekeeping tasks Supervise contractors to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with standards Update daily maintenance logs and complete work order forms accurately and promptly Required competencies and certifications NTC 2 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering At least 2 years of related experience in facilities engineering PUB Electrician License or any approved license awarded by relevant authority for Electrical Technicians Physical capability to frequently lift and carry up to 20kg, stand and walk constantly during shifts, and occasionally kneel, push, pull, lift, ascend or descend ladders, stairs, and ramps Preferred competencies and qualifications Experience working in a service-oriented culture Good interpersonal skills with multicultural awareness Ability to work effectively and contribute as part of a team Other Information JJ Consulting Services EA Licence No.: 12C6207 Applicants are invited to send in a MS Word resume to (HIDDEN TEXT) stating position applying for, present/expected salaries, and earliest available date.
