Funding Manager
to support the development, execution, and management of funding programmes across multiple asset classes.
Overview This role is ideal for a structured finance professional who enjoys hands-on execution, cross-functional collaboration, and designing funding solutions in a rapidly evolving business environment. The successful candidate will help shape the company's capital markets activities by evaluating asset pools, structuring funding tools, and supporting engagement with external investors and partners.
Key Responsibilities Support the design and implementation of funding programmes aligned with business expansion plans. Structure, model, and execute securitization or other asset-backed funding transactions across consumer, SME, and alternative lending portfolios. Perform asset analytics and credit assessment on new funding pipelines to determine funding feasibility. Collaborate with internal teams in risk, operations, product, and finance to develop data and structural components for transactions. Coordinate with legal advisors, rating agencies, and other external service providers throughout the transaction lifecycle. Track performance and covenant compliance for active funding structures and provide reporting insights to management. Conduct market research to help identify emerging funding opportunities and investor trends.
Requirements Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related discipline; professional certifications (e.g., CFA) advantageous. 5–7 years
of relevant experience in structured finance, securitization, debt capital markets, or ABS credit analysis. Familiarity with asset-backed structures, regulatory considerations, and institutional investor requirements. Strong quantitative and modelling skills, with ability to interpret complex datasets. Effective communicator able to coordinate with diverse stakeholders. Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-growth organisation.
