Regional Financial Controller, APAC Location: Asia Pacific (flexible within region) Industry: Data Center / Digital Infrastructure
A leading global developer and operator of hyperscale data centers is expanding rapidly across key metropolitan hubs in the Asia Pacific region. In support of this growth, we are seeking a seasoned and agile Regional Financial Controller to help drive financial oversight, operational governance, and commercial performance across multiple APAC sites.
This is a critical leadership role reporting to the Group Financial Controller. The successful candidate will oversee the financial accounting, statutory compliance, and internal controls of two operational sites, with responsibilities extending to finance setup for new markets, stakeholder management, and business partnering.
What you will be driving Full ownership of financial reporting, closing, and compliance for multiple APAC entities, ensuring alignment with IFRS, local GAAP, and Group standards Implementation and maintenance of a robust internal control environment, including audits, reconciliations, and risk remediation Oversight of tax and regulatory filings, working closely with local authorities and the Group tax team to manage compliance and audit processes Leadership of local finance teams, fostering collaboration with FP&A, Group Finance, and Centers of Excellence Operational finance execution, including vendor management, accounts receivable, and working capital improvement Strategic business partnering with FP&A to monitor site performance, manage capital and cost planning, and support liquidity and forecasting activities Leading finance setup for new site launches, ensuring readiness, compliance, and operational continuity Driving process improvement and systems optimization, enabling scalability and financial integrity across the region
What we are looking for A senior finance professional with strong regional exposure and a proven track record in complex, multi-entity environments Experience in infrastructure, data centers, real assets, or high-growth technology businesses preferred Solid grounding in IFRS and local reporting standards across APAC markets Adept at managing teams across countries and time zones, with strong stakeholder management skills Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable operating in both strategic and tactical spaces A mindset geared toward transformation, able to drive standardization, automation, and operational efficiency at scale
