This job requires the applicant to role as a site Maintenance Manager at a simulation control trainer. He reports directly to the Senior Manager, Director Training Centre and is responsible to manage, plan, lead the engineers under him to fulfil the maintenance activities contracted for simulation systems and support systems in Damage Control Trainer, Changi Naval Base.

Manage, plan and lead to conduct the required Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Ad hoc Corrective Maintenance (CM) tasks for the Damage Control Trainer (DCT) System (Electronics, Electricals and Mechanical) at Changi Naval Base, including any other works services that are beyond the scope of maintenance contract, accepted by ST Engineering (Training and Simulation Systems). Direct work in team/ independently to carry out scheduled PM and CM. Ensure the proper conduct of Governance and Compliance is dutifully carried out as required as per maintenance contract and ST Engineering requirement. Direct and manage defect diagnosis and engineering analysis at team/individual level. Collate all ad-hoc over & above services work requests. Manage schedules and planned work activities and to see through processes on the creation of SOWs, coordination with Corporate Procurement Team to solicit RFQ returns, develop strategies and criteria for fair conduct of RFQ Evaluations, ensure the conduct of site surveys, conformance on Safety standards including Risk Assessment and Risk Control Measures. Ensure work processes follow company /client policy and guidelines as required, etc. Manage and keep track of all work status, including resources such as Authority Furnished Spares (AFS), expendable and accountable spares to support the maintenance activities. Organise job meetings with subcontractors and internal business units to coordinate for work planning and requirement overview. Updates performance review on related contracts with client and those contracted to hired services, where necessary. Oversees the preparations for resources, including manpower recruitment and replacement, training and competency of engineers under him. Manage these resources including provision/delivery of supporting articles and tools to support all planned and ad-hoc maintenance activities. Oversees the hygiene factors on tools safety, work platform safety and currency of trained personnel. Develop systems for the upkeep of maintenance documentations, management of machinery/equipment safety revalidations and certifications. Prepare and submit Monthly Report of Proceedings on DCT Maintenance Contract and presentation developing updates to required forums at Defence Service and Division Level as required. Manage training operations support as required and project the usage of Part-Time Consultants (PTC) to support maintenance works required. Follow up on claims and administrations for the PTC's remunerations upon completion of jobs. Manage and oversees the quality performance of sub-contractors and other service vendors to support maintenance services required Oversees quality processes/deliverable in maintenance work Manage all safety requirements (in accordance to the client and company policies and requirement, whichever is more stringent). Obtained competency on the operation of MEWP (Boom lift), Manage Work At Height, AED/CPR. Attend Bizsafe L2 training, take ownership to update HIRA and RCM, SWIs, as and when mandated or when necessary.
Qualities We Value
Min 3 years with relevant experience in Engineering / Maintenance Good temperament, team and independent worker, fast learner Able to maintain good relationship with demanding customers Possess good business acumen to further company business opportunities Writing and Communication Proficiency with MS Office suites. Proficient in PC software and hardware maintenance. Those with programming knowledge and PC diagnosis will be given higher chance for considerations. Have good process knowledge, hybrid maintenance hands-on experiences on electrical and electronics linked controlled systems, such as SCADA, IO Network, PLC, Servo, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems (HVAC), Pumps and Filtration System Control, Hydraulics Control Systems, Structure and Mechanical fittings. Be physically fit to handle stairwells and manage height access platforms such as ladders, MEWP and other auxiliary platforms Comply to safety and security requirement
