What you’ll do:
Overseeing and strengthening the organization's compliance framework to effectively identify, assess, and mitigate regulatory and operational risks. This includes managing compliance and sanctions-related activities, conducting due diligence on counterparties, vessels, and trade structures, and providing regular risk updates to management. Maintain and continuously enhance compliance policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks to ensure alignment with evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Provide regulatory guidance to business and support functions by assessing the impact of new regulations and industry developments. Lead internal investigations relating to compliance matters and prepare detailed investigation reports. Prepare and deliver periodic compliance reports for both internal stakeholders and external regulatory requirements. Support internal and external audits, monitor control effectiveness across departments, and recommend process improvements where necessary.
