TikTok's Data Scientist team is a critical component of the platform's success, responsible for leveraging data to enhance user experience, optimize content delivery, and drive business decisions. As a project intern, you will engage in impactful short‑term projects that provide you with a glimpse of real‑world professional experience, gaining practical skills through on‑the‑job learning in a fast‑paced work environment and developing a deeper understanding of your career interests. • Support data analysis related to content violations, user feedback, and account risk
• Assist in maintaining core metrics, dashboards, and basic monitoring, and help with preliminary issue investigation
• Participate in experiment analysis (e.g., A/B testing) and policy or strategy evaluation under guidance
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify risk patterns and potential optimization opportunities
• Develop automated solutions to accelerate insight generation and improve analysis efficiency

Minimum Qualifications:

• Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong Python programming skills, with experience in data analysis or modeling
• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree or in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree
• Able to commit at least 3 days per week; minimum commitment of 3 months, 6 months preferred
