Global Procurement Program Lead: Cost, Risk & ESG Impact, Singapore

Key Responsibilities

• Lead procurement program execution across the full spend scope and ensure disciplined daily and weekly follow-up on priorities, procurement levers, and action plans.
• Improve negotiation coverage, best-cost-country sourcing penetration, de-savings prevention, and clean-sheet / should-cost deployment.
• Drive cost reduction and operational efficiency through advanced analytics, predictive modeling, supplier cost benchmarking, and fact-based analytics to strengthen sourcing strategies and negotiation outcomes.
• Monitor geopolitical developments, trade policies, tariffs, regulatory changes, and supply market developments under a market intelligence umbrella, including financial and supply continuity risks.
• Identify supply disruption risks and trigger mitigation actions with category teams.
• Ensure supplier compliance with regulatory, quality, sustainability, and commercial requirements, as well as corporate procurement standards and BOM compliance expectations.
• Strengthen supplier compliance, ESG performance, and responsible sourcing standards across the supplier base.
• Standardize strategic supplier business reviews, including agenda, KPIs, reporting format, and communication alignment, to ensure one consistent company voice.
• Improve working capital through payment-term optimization, inventory models such as VMI or SMOI, Incoterm effectiveness, and procurement-led cash initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA/Master’s preferred.
• 10–15 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Program Management, or Operations within multinational organizations.
• Strong expertise in procurement, category management, supplier management, and cost reduction methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in analytics, should-cost modeling, predictive analysis, and market intelligence tools.
• Strong understanding of global supply markets, trade regulations, tariffs, geopolitical trends, and supply risk management.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive execution in a global matrix organization.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing, communication, and leadership capabilities.
• Experience in procurement transformation, operational excellence, and process improvement is an advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to problem solving.
• Comfortable working in an international and matrix environment.
