RESIDENT TECHNICAL OFFICER, Singapore

To assist the Resident Engineer in supervision and inspection on site.

• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved plans under the Building Control Act, including on‑site inspection, co‑ordination, quality control and supervision.
• Maintain daily site records, diaries, inspection checklists, and material testing records; prepare reports on project progress, site issues and incidents.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and other consultants to keep work on schedule.
• Inspect materials, structural elements and workmanship to ensure quality, including piling, concreting and steel works, and reject non‑compliant work.
• Supervise the execution of construction works, ensuring compliance with BCA specifications and quality and safety standards.

• Work experience with HDB, LTA or other construction projects, including structural, architectural and M&E work.
• Relevant experience as a civil engineer supervising works similar in nature to those in the Civil Contracts.
• Understanding of Building Control Act and BCA specifications.
• Strong coordination skills and ability to maintain thorough documentation.
