Job Description

You will lead the work on some of the most popular consumer brands in the world, impacting the daily lives of nearly 2 billion people in the fastest growing region in the world. You will work for clients who not only care about success in the marketplace, but are passionate about the role of brands in helping bring about social change. The Account Director is responsible for seamless delivery on a client account including creation and communication of effective brand strategies, account staffing and oversight of all client relations and presentations; while providing active support and oversight to an Account Service team.

  • Lead and optimize operations for the key account, managing a team across 5 markets (Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, India).
  • Drive strategic conversations with clients to elevate social content strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maintaining the agency’s creative excellence.
  • Guide Account Managers to deliver high-quality, impactful creative work on time and within scope.
  • Enhance operational efficiency by refining ways of working within Singapore and across the regional team.
  • Lead presentations with clients, including engagements with senior stakeholders, when required.
  • Oversee the P&L for the account, working with the team to achieve financial targets.
  • Stay proactive in identifying opportunities for organic growth and cross‑selling within the Groupe.
Qualifications
  • Proven ability to integrate different departments within the organization to facilitate client requests and deliver on the Groupe’s promise of the Power of One.
  • Deep understanding of 360 campaign production and Social media i.e. steps, processes, paid media, tools - with the ability to manage high-level communication with clients about Chemistry’s social‑first approach.
  • Skilled in crafting presentations that highlight trends in digital, media, technology, and advertising to achieve clients’ business outcomes.
  • A strong grasp of the social ecosystem, with a deep understanding of how social, mobile, experiential, search, and other channels coexist.
  • Expertise in interpreting and leading measurement reporting for both standard and rich media advertising or social campaigns.
  • Ability to rally behind social‑first briefs, pushing clients and creatives to explore innovative projects.
  • Highly capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced creative environment.
  • Strong negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
  • Comprehensive financial understanding of budgeting, estimating, and ensuring agency profitability.
  • A track record of earning trust and respect by demonstrating sound critical thinking and maintaining composure in high‑pressure situations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional initiative and follow‑through skills to ensure successful project completion.
