Manager, Warehouse Operations (East), Singapore

To ensure delivery of SLA's with customers in a fast growing sector, including managing/implementing operations for existing and new customers in accordance with the DSC standards.

Accountable for own unit profit & loss with high impact to the stakeholder financial budget set.

Reviews monthly operational performance with site customers and provides solutions to drive operational excellence.

Negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and contractors for contractual rates and services & products.

Build a strong win‑win customer relationship to ensure customer retention and develop solutions to grow existing business.

Frequently review, align, and keep superior updated on operational issues and performance indices such as customer profile, space management, resource management, operating procedures, and P&L status.

Manage the planning process to ensure all daily operation activities are executed and meet required customer service levels.

Conduct monthly staff meetings to ensure operational performance and issues are resolved.

Actively promote the exchange and adoption of best practices within the country to leverage collective learning and improve consistency and productivity.

Continuously review and improve business processes to increase productivity and add value to DHL services.

Manage the effective implementation and use of appropriate technology in all sections of the service chain to enhance service and improve productivity.

Analyze and produce realistic monthly P & L reporting.

Develop a high-performance service culture within the functional team. Plan, organize, and direct an efficient and effective operations team.

Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management preferred.

Minimum 5 years experience in Operations Management, overseeing and controlling multiple functions.

Experience in reading and managing Profit and Loss statements would be advantageous.

Must be highly motivated and able to supervise a headcount of about 50 and manage relationships with all levels of staff and customers.

Have excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
