Research Engineer, Singapore

Location: Singapore, Singapore

Thales Research and Technology (TRT) in Singapore seeks a PhD level project under IPP. The student is expected to obtain a post‑doctoral degree within 4 years and will work on industry projects with multinational companies.

• Conduct research & development in various aspects of engineering
• Contribute to TRT‑SG research work products and knowledge sharing through potential patents, IP foreground information, R&T gates, external and group internal conferences and presentations, publications etc.
• Engage in the creative and innovative development of R&T
• In line with TRT‑SG, KTD and GBU priorities for HW R&D and engineering solutions
• Play a key role in project management: planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing projects

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Physics
• Ability to obtain a post‑doctoral degree within 4 years
• Proven ability to work independently, formulate research plans and take initiative
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Preparation and review of analysis presentations and reports
• Presentation of analysis results at internal and external working group meetings
• Support collaborative research efforts with other team members

• Working Location: One North
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
