Manager/ Senior Manager (Industry Strategy), Industry Division, Singapore

You will be part of a dynamic team to shape and develop a vibrant and growing cybersecurity ecosystem in Singapore. Your mission will be to strengthen Singapore’s cybersecurity capabilities through formulating strategies, planning new initiatives, and working with partners to grow the cybersecurity industry for national security and economic benefits.

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders including government agencies, institutes of higher learning, business associations, venture capitalists and cybersecurity companies. You will also work closely with the national CyberSG Talent, Innovation and Growth Collaboration Centre (TIG Centre) to support cybersecurity innovation, bolster Singapore’s reputation as a trusted digital hub and advance cybersecurity as an economic driver for Singapore.

• Conduct in-depth market study to identify relevant trends, opportunities, and emerging issues in the cybersecurity industry.
• Support the design and implementation of new programmes to increase the vibrancy of the cybersecurity industry, and innovation ecosystem. This includes building strong partnerships with institutes of higher learning and industry players to secure buy‑in and approvals for funding.
• Facilitate inter‑ministry and inter‑government coordination and collaboration on cybersecurity industry development.
• Develop and manage strong partnerships with key industry players and knowledge partners to gain support and involvement in industry development efforts.
• Craft compelling value proposition for industry division’s programmes and initiatives, and present recommendations to senior management.

• Qualification(s) in Business, Economics, Communication or Computer Science.
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience for Manager role and more than 6 years of Senior Manager role. Preferably in the government sector and involved in strategic planning or public policy.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, with the ability to distil and summarise complex issues and to propose potential solutions.
