owns and operates a fleet of about48 modern and high quality fully pressurized, semi-refrigerated and ethylene capable gas carriers providing seaborne services for the transportation of liquified petroleum gas (LPG), petrochemicals and other specialty gases. We are headquartered in Singapore, with offices in Copenhagen, Manila & Tokyo. Our vessels serve as a crucial link in the international gas supply chains of leading energy majors and commodity trading houses throughout Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. We employ approximately 2,000 seafarers and a multi-national team of about 180 shore-based staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Liaise with approved suppliers and sub-contractors for quotations, order confirmations, delivery coordination and invoicing for stores and spares supplied to vessels.
• Evaluate the performance of suppliers, sub-contractors and repair companies/yards.
• Ensure timely procurement and forwarding of stores and spares to vessels, including urgent operational requirements.
• Assist Ship/Vessel Managers in arranging vessel repairs, docking activities, servicing schedules and surveys.
• Follow up on FO and LO sample reports from vessels and testing laboratories.
• Maintain records of vessel certificates and initiate timely renewal actions in consultation with Ship/Vessel Managers.
• Assist with Flag documentation and class survey coordination activities.
• Process invoices related to stores, spares and repairs.
• Coordinate servicing of equipment in accordance with company requirements.
• Maintain records of suppliers that do not meet the company’s safety, health, environmental and quality requirements.
• Support freight forwarding coordination and purchasing process improvements.
• Provide feedback to improve internal procurement processes, ERP systems and operational efficiency.
• Support company initiatives relating to safety, sustainability and environmental standards.
• Prepare reports and carry out any other duties assigned by Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Maritime Studies, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in ship management, ship chandelling or the maritime industry preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Experience with maritime systems such as Shipnet, Eyeshare or similar ERP platforms would be advantageous.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment under tight timelines.
• Strong team player with good multitasking abilities and a proactive mindset.
