Commissioning Engineer, Singapore

• Arrange necessary facilities and instruments for jobs such as meters, test kits, temporary preparations, shore generators, and load banks.
• Perform testing and commissioning activities and ensure that proper documentation is approved and signed.
• Supervise and deploy manpower to execute operational tasks.
• Ensure that electrical equipment and switchboards meet purchase specifications, and arrange for protection and maintenance of the electrical system.
• Review commissioning work processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Liaise with owners, class surveyors, and government bodies pertaining to project requirements.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning requirements with Engineering, Project Manager, QA Department, and vendors.
• Plan and schedule testing and commissioning requirements based on the project basis, and organize all logistics requirements for major operations.
• Perform any other assigned duties and responsibilities.

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related engineering disciplines.
• Minimum 4 years of related work experience working on FPSOs.
• Possess working experience related to testing of LV/MV switchboards, power generators, DCS/ICSS interface for PMS system.
• Capable of testing and calibration of electrical switchboard and its components, troubleshooting and clear understanding of system specifications and class requirements.
• Familiar with the testing procedures and applicable rules and regulations of regulatory bodies.
• Familiar with test memos and manuals.
