Description

Resident Technical Officer (RTO) – Civil & Structural (C&S)

Supervise and inspect civil & structural works at construction sites to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and authority requirements.
Monitor site progress, workmanship quality, and safety practices in accordance with project standards.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders for smooth site operations.
Conduct site inspections, testing, and material verification to ensure compliance with BCA and project specifications.
Review method statements, shop drawings, and construction activities before execution.
Ensure all works are carried out according to approved procedures and construction schedules.
Identify site issues and provide technical recommendations to resolve construction and structural matters.
Prepare daily site reports, inspection records, and progress documentation.
Attend site meetings, coordination meetings, and authority inspections when required.
Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations and maintain proper site practices.
