We employ market-neutral strategies to reduce market volatility exposure and deliver consistent, risk‑adjusted returns. Our aim is to enhance liquidity and long-term capital efficiency.

We are expanding our Macro Rates team and are looking for a Proprietary Trader with deep expertise in Japan, Korea, and Australia interest rate markets. This role will drive our proprietary trading strategies in rates and bond futures across these key Asia‑Pacific markets.

• Develop and execute proprietary trading strategies in Japan (JGBs), Korea (KTBs), and Australia (ACGBs) rates markets, including bond futures, interest rate swaps, and options.
• Conduct detailed macroeconomic, interest rate, and cross‑market analysis to identify trading opportunities in Asia‑Pacific rates markets.
• Manage a trading book with disciplined risk oversight, ensuring consistent P&L generation and compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor market movements and dynamically adjust trading strategies in response to BOJ, BOK, and RBA policy decisions, as well as global macro trends.
• Collaborate closely with research, risk, and other traders to refine trading approaches and enhance market insights.
• Maintain deep knowledge of interest rate derivatives, bond futures, and associated liquidity and hedging dynamics in Japan, Korea, and Australia.

• Minimum 3 years of proprietary trading experience in Japan, Korea, or Australia interest rate markets, with strong focus on government bonds and bond futures.
• Proven track record in rates and derivatives trading with consistent risk‑adjusted returns.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills; degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (CFA, FRM) are a plus.
• Proficiency with trading platforms and financial software.
• Strategic thinker with ability to interpret complex macroeconomic and market data.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Business‑level English required; Japanese or Korean proficiency highly desirable.
