Senior Medical Case Manager - Nurse, Singapore

We are looking for a nurse who has excellent medical report‑writing and critical thinking skills. They should be able to work well under pressure, understand how to prioritize and escalate as necessary.

The Nurse Case Managers are integral to the provision of Medical Assistance. Our role is to review medical information in a timely fashion and provide an expert opinion on how to deliver the highest level of care to our client group. The types of cases we manage vary widely, from oversight of non‑urgent outpatient reviews to emergency medical evacuations. Our client groups are located all around the world, and as such, we need to be prepared to interact with medical professionals from different countries to obtain medical information promptly and provide an effective response. The medical team draws upon its own experience and the shared experience of the team to offer an informed opinion on case management.

• Day‑to‑day case management
• Reaching out and contacting medical professionals on an international basis to gain medical updates on a patient’s condition.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills when planning for case management
• Liaise with colleagues within the Operations team to ensure open and effective communication.
• Perform telephonic patient assessments.

Crisis24 has recently expanded its operations, with Medical Assistance added to our Integrated Risk Management portfolio of services. With a combined expertise covering 55 years, we now offer the full spectrum of medical solutions—from medical advice, 24/7 medical assistance, and proactive case management, to medical evacuation and repatriation services—through dedicated medical service solutions for customers. You will be working with the Medical Assistance Team, which consists of an operational team and a medical team. The Medical Team is a small group that requires strong communication skills, as we strongly encourage teamwork. We currently have nurses and doctors across four continents, working together for a follow‑the‑sun service. The team comprises doctors, nurse managers, nurses, and a clinical support specialist.

• Must be a qualified and registered nurse
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in a critical care setting, but other settings will be considered if experience is suitable
• Own and promote medical case‑handling procedures
• Ability to plan and manage their own caseload
• Good problem‑solving skills
• Decision maker
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
• Can‑do, will‑do attitude
• Ability to take ownership of problems and resolve them
• An effective time manager who can prioritize
• Can integrate and work well within a team
• Advantageous French and/or German speaker
