Hiring Production Engineer for chemical / petrochemical plant operations, process improvement and team leadership.

• Lead daily production operations and process improvement activities to achieve plant performance targets.
• Monitor plant operations, production output, process parameters and equipment performance.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting guidance to production teams.
• Coach and guide field operators, console operators and shift teams.
• Work closely with Maintenance, Project, Reliability, Technical and HSE teams to resolve plant issues.
• Support development and review of operating procedures, work instructions and production records.
• Lead plant improvement initiatives to enhance safety, reliability, efficiency and profitability.
• Support plant start-up, shutdown, turnaround, commissioning and pre-startup activities.
• Participate in risk assessment, MOC, PSSR and process safety related activities.
• Ensure production activities comply with safe work practices, HSE requirements and company standards.
• Support emergency response and crisis management activities when required.
• Cover Production Manager duties during his/her absence when needed.

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or other relevant Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, petrochemical, polymer, rubber or process plant environment.
• Experience in production, plant operations, process troubleshooting or shift team support.
• Experience leading or guiding operators / technicians will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of operating procedures, plant start-up, shutdown, commissioning or turnaround activities is preferred.
• Familiar with risk assessment, safe work practices, HSE requirements and process safety basics.
• Knowledge of MOC, PSSR, Six Sigma, Lean, 5S or continuous improvement programmes will be an advantage.
• Good leadership, planning, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work with cross-functional teams including Maintenance, Engineering, Technical and HSE departments.
