Senior Design Quality Engineer - Reliability (Semiconductors), Singapore

We are seeking a Senior Design Quality Engineer to lead product reliability and design qualification activities for advanced semiconductor equipment. In this role, you will ensure robust design performance through structured testing, data analysis, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Lead design qualification and reliability testing for new product developments
• Develop and execute test plans aligned with customer use cases
• Design and implement accelerated life and stress testing protocols
• Conduct DFMEA to identify design risks and drive preventive actions
• Perform statistical analysis on test and reliability data, and prepare detailed reports
• Collaborate with suppliers and engineering teams on component quality and root cause analysis
• Set up and manage test equipment for qualification activities
• Track and manage defects identified during testing, ensuring timely closure of corrective actions
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with prior leadership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of qualification testing, reliability engineering, and problem-solving methodologies
• Experience in statistical analysis tools (e.g. Minitab)
• Familiarity with ISO 9000 Quality Management Systems is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across teams
