May have responsibility for CAD deliverables to the customer, layout/packaging coordination, release coordination (using EPIC), and CAD studies***How you will do it:**** Develop and review detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and equipment specifications.* Perform HVAC load calculations, hydraulic calculations, pump head calculations, pipe sizing, and chilled water/condensate water system design.* Prepare technical proposals, bill of materials (BOM), equipment selections, and tender documentation.* Ensure all HVAC designs comply with ASHRAE standards, local building codes, and corporate engineering guidelines.* Coordinate with internal teams (sales, project management, solutions engineering) to support pre‐sales and project execution.* Review and validate engineering designs from consultants, contractors, and partners.* Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.* Conduct site assessments, attend technical meetings, and support design reviews.* Support troubleshooting and commissioning activities related to HVAC and hydronic systems.* Meeting with clients and design teams to determine mechanical applications and requirements.* Review and understand mechanical designs using CAD, CAM, and 3D CAD programs.***What we look for:**** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.* Minimum **5 years** experience in HVAC system design, including chilled water systems or condenser system design.* Strong understanding of HVAC system fundamentals, equipment selection, and controls integration.* Hands‐on proficiency in HVAC design software (Revit, AutoCAD).* Familiarity with performing hydraulic calculations and using tools/spreadsheets for pump head computation.* Knowledge of relevant standards (ASHRAE, ISO, local mechanical codes).* Experience delivering medium to large‐scale commercial or industrial projects.* Strong documentation, communication, and coordination skills.* Professional certification (SCEM, LEED AP) is an advantage.***What we offer:**** Competitive salary* Paid vacation/holidays/sick time* Comprehensive benefits package* On the job/cross training opportunities* Encouraging and collaborative team environment* Dedication to safety through our Zero Harm policy***#LI-GO1******#LI-Onsite***Your buildings have a purpose.
