Senior/Mechanical Design Engineer - Machine, Singapore

• Lead mechanical design and development of semiconductor equipment from concept, module design, to full machine integration.
• Design and develop precision mechanical structures, assemblies, and mechanisms for high‑tech automation systems.
• Perform 3D CAD modeling, detailed engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Conduct design validation, feasibility studies, and reliability testing to ensure robust product performance.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, and application teams to achieve seamless system integration.
• Drive design optimization initiatives to improve performance, manufacturability, cost efficiency, and product reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical design issues during development, testing, and field support.
• Support continuous improvement programs (CIP) to enhance product lifecycle and competitiveness.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, design changes, and technical specifications.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
• Strong experience in semiconductor equipment, automation systems, or precision machinery design.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, tolerances, and material selection.
• Experience in prototype development, testing, and system integration.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Passion for high‑precision engineering and innovation‑driven development.
