VP, External Managers, Credit - Portfolio Manager, Singapore

We are looking for a skilled and motivated candidate to join our team in Singapore as a Credit Portfolio Manager. You will be part of an investment team that invests in funds run by external managers. This role focuses on public credit strategies, investing in corporate and asset backed credit funds.

• Source, underwrite and monitor credit fund investments in corporate and structured products strategies, including investment grade and high yield long‑only and absolute return funds.
• Perform due diligence on prospective external fund investments, including meeting managers and their teams, performing qualitative manager and strategy analysis, and performing quantitative track record analysis.
• Monitor existing portfolio of fund investments, including regular updates with managers.
• Work closely with internal teams on strategic direction of external fund investments.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual internal reports and presentations at both fund and strategy level and provide summary insights from fund managers.

• At least 4 to 6 years of credit investing experience as fund allocator including long‑only fixed income and credit investing.
• Prior direct investing or credit underwriting experience preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of investment grade and high yield public corporate and securitized credit markets and fund strategies.
• Excellent analytical ability and very high attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to craft clear and impactful PowerPoint presentations.
• Highly motivated and intellectually curious about markets and investing.
• Independent thinker capable of articulating views effectively in both verbal and written form.
• Collaborative team player able to work across multiple teams.
