Assistant Procurement Manager, Singapore

Direct inventory planning and replenishment for Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, and assigned markets to ensure optimal stock availability.

Facilitate with the end-to-end procurement cycle, including demand forecasting, contract management, and complex shipping documentation.

Convert inventory and procurement data into actionable insights to mitigate risks, optimize costs, and brief senior management on market trends.

Supervise junior staff to maintain operational excellence and ensure strict compliance with global procurement procedures.

Act as the primary lead for resolving supplier disputes, vessel delays, and critical stock movements.

Partner with Marketing and QA for seamless new product launches and manage logistical execution for direct container sales.

Implement process enhancements to streamline reporting and procurement workflows.

• At least 5 years of proven exprience in procurement or supply chain industry. Experience within the Wholesale Trade sector or FMCG would be advantageous.
• Solid understanding of shipping documentation, Incoterms, and managing freight forwarder/supplier relationships.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use Excel or other tools to identify trends and risks.
• Ability to multitask, highly organise and able to meet deadline.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
