Position Summary

Global Security Operations Centre (Safety & Security) Lead – builds and manages critical internal relationships to align priorities, programs, events, schedules, and security needs across Executive Office, Enterprise Relationship Management, Investment Group Admins, Workplace Experience, Corporate Meeting and Event planners, and Executive Admins. Identifies, cultivates, and coordinates with external vendors and contractors to ensure security resources are properly vetted, staged, scheduled, and briefed on priorities and contractual adherence.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Safety & Security team demands, schedule, capital budget, and operational budget to ensure resources are appropriately planned, budgeted, distributed, and allocated to meet global security strategy.
  • Create and manage a process to assess event/program security risk and provide on‑site / travel / personal / event security support to ensure the safety of Capital leaders, associates, meeting attendees, and reputation.
  • Collaborate with Regional Security Teams, Executive Security Services Team, and Capital’s Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) to coordinate enterprise physical security programs, solutions, and resources across global operations.
  • Identify and recommend new technologies and methodologies; evaluate new or modified end‑to‑end systems, processes, or products versus internal security standards to identify potential solutions that further secure Capital Group operations.
  • Work directly with Strategic Sourcing & Procurement and Legal to finalize contracts and work‑order agreements for upgrade and maintenance statements of work and projects.
  • Manage RFIs efforts with external vendors to identify and support the selection of future applications that enhance the team’s ability to deliver global safety and security strategy.
  • Identify problems and implement solutions proactively to keep security systems and projects on schedule, within budget, and meeting business requirements.
  • Provide input on long‑range planning and implementation of industry best practices.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years in a corporate or government role focused on relationship management, program management, operations, travel and event planning, and support.
  • Ability to work and cover on‑call responsibilities, with willingness to react to emergencies on a 24/7 basis.
  • Experience in high‑stress environments, meeting deadlines, and working with VIPs.
  • Ability to take initiative, prioritize projects, and problem‑solve with little supervision while maintaining control under stress.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills for both group and individual settings.
  • Sound judgment to independently handle and advise on a wide range of issues and strong relationship‑management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deliverables with high efficiency.
  • Data‑analysis experience: identify and interpret meaningful information from large data sets.
