The Opportunity

As Director of Organizational Performance in the People Development & Performance team, you will partner with senior leaders across Agoda to drive programs and initiatives that strengthen and evolve how we measure and assess organizational effectiveness, and drive interrelated performance management and talent management platforms and processes (e.g., talent identification, succession planning, and more). Design and implementation of programs will require close partnership across the People Team and project teams in each department. You will help shape Agoda’s organizational and performance management strategies globally to support achieving our vision and multi-year strategy.

What You’ll Do
  • Closely partner with senior departmental leaders and senior business partners in the People Team to understand business strategy and organizational context; identify opportunities to develop a high-performing culture
  • Manage platforms and cycles for performance calibration, talent review, performance review, and succession planning across the company
  • Analyze performance, org structure/complexity, and talent movement data to identify issues and recommend practical improvements to talent processes for rapid implementation
  • Lead and develop a team (directly and on a project basis) to deliver platforms and programs on an all-Agoda and priority-departmental basis
  • Represent the People Team in Agoda leadership forums and in interactions with related brand companies on people-related topics, harmonizing policies where appropriate
  • Mentor and develop other professionals in a maturing People function
  • Translate people analytics into clear updates for stakeholders, shaping strategy and measuring program impact (e.g., exit drivers, retention, engagement, and performance-management trends)
What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • 12+ years of experience in internal HR partnering, talent management, and organizational consulting in large organizations, preferably in tech, or in strategic/management consulting
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of how organizational structures and dynamics relate to execution
  • Deep experience implementing, operating, and improving performance management platforms and processes, preferably in fast-moving tech environments
  • Deep understanding of systems and data across the employee lifecycle and related processes
  • Excellent executive presence and ability to articulate messages to diverse audiences
  • Ability to bring business perspectives and facilitate outcomes beyond HR-specific experience
  • Excellent judgment, self-motivated, curious and trustworthy
  • Strong leadership and execution capabilities with the ability to prioritize and deliver
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data sense
  • High discretion, confidentiality, and ethics
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across a diverse, multicultural organization
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and change; brings structure and drive to deliver results
  • Humility, sense of humor, flexibility, and ability to lead difficult conversations
  • Undergraduate degree from a top university; advanced degrees welcome
  • This role is based in Bangkok – relocation support provided
