Computer Vision Data Scientist - Prototyping to Production, Singapore

• Conduct research on computer vision, deep learning and AI problems
• Build prototype applications in AI domains such as computer vision, self-supervised learning, multi-modality learning etc
• Work closely with a team of scientists and researchers to concept and iterate on software development
• Develop and deploy data science prototypes, with a focus on bringing machine learning models into production
• Design and implement scalable and high-performance machine learning models, with a focus on troubleshooting performance and accuracy issues
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams locally and overseas, and present proof of concepts to stakeholders effectively
• Build data cleaning and augmentation pipelines for both machine learning and deep learning model-based projects
• Automate processes and workflows for efficient delivery of data science products via scripting and open-source tools
• Familiarity with code management and version control systems such as GIT
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and deployment techniques through independent research and open source tools and libraries
• Data Engineering & Analytics

• Degree/Masters/PhD in Engineering or Science with min 3 years of relevant experience with atleast 1 year in Computer Vision Projects
• Experience in real-world data science projects, internships, hackathons, and personal projects
• Prior experience in Computer Vision related projects is mandatory
• Expertise in Python programming and using libraries for data processing, visualization, and model development, including pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, and seaborn
• Proficient in API concepts and libraries, and experienced in utilizing them for testing and deployment, leveraging frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI
• Familiar with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Minio) and SQL for data storage and retrieval
• Understand HTML/CSS/Javascript and have experience in front-end JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React to design web interfaces for data science prototypes and deploy them.
• Engineering background experienced in Sensing, Controls, Automation, Optimization & Manufacturing Processes is a plus
