Network Team Lead, Singapore

Qualifications and experience requirements for the Network Team Lead role:

The staff shall have at least three (3) years of working experience in the Information Technology industry in the areas of network implementation and support, of which at least one (1) year working in environments with stringent security requirements, critical infrastructure, or regulated sectors (e.g., government, or defense‑related networks).

Technical competency prerequisites:

• Proficient in Microsoft Windows Operating System.
• Working knowledge and hands‑on experience with enterprise‑grade network and security equipment (e.g., Cisco, Alcatel, etc).
• Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, NTP configuration and TCP/IP networking.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve network access problems by performing network troubleshooting (such as ping, telnet, ssh, ipconfig, netstat, nslookup, etc).

• Provide leadership and guidance to the team, including supervision, motivation, and performance evaluations.
• Assign tasks and manage workload to team members.
• Lead complex projects from initiation to closure, including planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Collaborate with other departments to align IT infrastructure with business objectives.

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect against threats.
• Monitor network performance, identify and resolve issues, and implement optimization strategies.
• Provide high‑level technical support and lead incident resolution.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements.

• Develop long‑term plans to support business needs.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and industry standards.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network systems, configurations, and procedures.
