Research Engineer (Medical Imaging) 1, Singapore

A Research Engineer position is currently available in the research group of Dr Jin Yueming, at the Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME), National University of Singapore (NUS). The Research Engineer will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) on one or more research projects.

• Assisting in constructing and analysing medical imaging data, and defining data analytical tasks with clinical value in real‑world employment.
• Developing novel models and algorithms for 2D or 3D medical vision tasks such as surgical scene segmentation, depth estimation, etc.

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Strong self-motivation and curiosity.
• Higher priority to candidates who have published first-author papers in top-tier journals and conferences about medical imaging.
• Good programming skills in one of the following languages: C/C++, Matlab, Python.
• Project experience and values excellent teamwork.
• Proficient in written and spoken communication.
• Open to fixed-term contract.
