Senior Architectural Engineer - LNG/O&G EPC, Singapore

Description

Review architectural drawings for constructability, compliance, and coordination with civil, structural, and MEP disciplines.
Ensure all architectural works comply with Singapore codes, regulations, and project specifications during the EPC phase.
Provide technical support to site teams and resolve architectural-related construction issues (e.g., RFIs, site queries, NCRs).
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders—including contractors, consultants, and authorities—to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Track engineering progress, maintain status updates, and support reporting to the Project Manager and Engineering Manager.
Participate in mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and final handover activities related to architectural scope.

Requirements

Minimum 7 years of relevant architectural engineering experience.
At least 3 years in a similar role on major LNG or oil & gas projects.
Strong knowledge of Singapore codes, standards, and regulations relevant to EPC projects.
Excellent technical knowledge of architectural design and construction practices.
Strong problem-solving skills for resolving site and design issues.
Proficient in reviewing and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering drawings.
Effective communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Ability to monitor construction quality and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Experience with mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and final handover processes.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced EPC environment.
Prior experience in large-scale industrial or oil & gas projects is highly desirable.
