Electrical Engineer - M&E Construction Site Lead, Singapore

Job Summary

Support project management by supervising on-site M&E activities, coordinating multi-disciplinary works, managing technical documentation, and ensuring quality control to deliver projects on schedule and to specification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and Senior Engineer in supervising daily on-site mechanical and electrical activities to ensure timely project completion.
• Prepare material quantity take-offs and build Bills of Materials (BOM) to support procurement processes.
• Manage progress and coordinate Electrical, ACMV, Fire Protection, and Plumbing & Sanitary works, including submission of drawings and method statements.
• Conduct site inspections to identify and report discrepancies, defects, or inconsistencies in construction drawings.
• Collaborate closely with Structural and Architectural teams to resolve service clashes and ensure seamless integration.

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, HVAC, Mechatronics, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction or MEP design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office applications
• Familiarity with Singapore Codes of Practice
