Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the overall editorial direction, content strategy, and storytelling approach across print and digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to source, curate, and develop high-quality content.
  • Generate creative and engaging content ideas tailored to target audience segments.
  • Lead the end-to-end planning, development, and production of the company’s in-house magazines.
  • Oversee writing, editing, proofreading, and translation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment.
Strategic Communications & Public Relations
  • Develop and execute integrated communications strategies to enhance brand positioning and public perception.
  • Serve as a key representative for corporate messaging, including drafting official statements, press releases, speeches, keynote addresses, and talking points.
  • Manage crisis communication planning and execution, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to sensitive issues.
  • Handle media relations, including press engagement, media briefings, and press conference coordination.
  • Act as the company’s spokesperson support in public communications, ensuring messaging is clear, professional, and aligned with corporate positioning.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies (e.g. IMDA) on communication-related matters where required.
  • Oversee the development of official reports, articles, and corporate publications, ensuring high editorial standards.
Partnerships & Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, partners, and key stakeholders to strengthen brand visibility and reputation.
  • Manage cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
General
  • Support corporate events, media launches, and public-facing engagements, including weekend coverage when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer.
Requirements
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in editorial, corporate communications, and public relations.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills.
  • Experience in translation and bilingual content development will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding of publishing, design, and print production processes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects under tight timelines.
