Van Egmond White Peat is extracted from the top layers of a peat field, giving it a light colour and a coarse structure. Its acidity (pH) ranges from 3.5 to 4.0. The main characteristic of White Peat Mulch is its high-water absorption and distribution capacity. White Peat Mulch can be used to improve soil structure and to cover bulbs and frost-sensitive crops. Due to its low acidity, White Peat Mulch is also suitable for plants that prefer acidic soil, such as heather, rhododendron and azalea.


Instructions for use:
For optimal results, we advise you:
• Use the appropriate substrate for each crop or cultivation method.
• Do not add other raw materials to the product in order to maintain its properties.
• In order to maintain structure handle with care.
• During cultivation substrate should not be too wet.
• Analyze the substrate regularly during cultivation to determine the exact levels of nutrients.
