Job Summary The Inventory & Goods Receiving Executive is responsible for managing the accurate receiving, inspection, storage, and inventory control of goods for F&B operations. This role ensures proper documentation, stock accuracy, food safety compliance, and smooth coordination with suppliers and internal teams to support daily operational needs. Key Responsibilities Goods Receiving & Inventory Control Receive, unload, and unpack incoming deliveries in a safe and timely manner. Inspect goods for quality, quantity, expiry dates, and damages verify items against purchase orders and delivery documents. Accurately record all received items in the inventory system and report discrepancies, shortages, or non-conforming items to management. Sort, label, and store goods in designated storage areas in compliance with FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and food safety practices. Ensure strict segregation of Halal and non-Halal items (if applicable) at all times. Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and safety of the receiving dock, storage, and warehouse areas.
Coordination & Communication Communicate and coordinate closely with Procurement, Kitchen, Logistics, and Operations teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely availability of supplies. Work with suppliers and transporters to resolve delivery issues and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Requirements Diploma or equivalent qualification, preferably in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Administration or related fields. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in food manufacturing, catering, or F&B operations preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g. SFA, hygiene practices) is an advantage. Physically fit to handle goods receiving duties. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Good communication and coordination abilities.
