Science Lab & School Support Assistant (Bukit Batok)

About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Science Lab & School Support Assistant to be deployed at a Primary School in Bukit Batok. This is a full contract role through The Talent People Pte. Ltd., supporting the school's Science department and broader school operations. Key Responsibilities Science Laboratory Support: Assist subject teachers in preparing the Science lab, apparatus, and materials for lessons and experiments Support teachers in conducting Science practicals and experiments with students Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of the lab, equipment, and apparatus Manage the borrowing and return of Science lab items, with accurate record-keeping Assist in procuring materials, chemicals, and apparatus required for lab activities Maintain Science Room inventory records Eco Garden & Outdoor Support: Water and maintain plants in the Eco Garden and Racial Harmony Garden Monitor and supervise garden landscaping and pond maintenance liaise with external contractors and sign off on completed maintenance work Feed and clean tortoise enclosures in the Racial Harmony Garden Assist in outdoor learning trails conducted by the school School Operations Support: Prepare teaching resources for departments other than Science as required Provide support at school entrance/exit to ensure students enter and leave safely in the afternoon Assist with cleaning, housekeeping, packing, and student supervision during school holidays (as OSO support) Provide general administrative support as required Requirements Minimum ITE or GCE 'N' Level certificate Good communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and strong work ethic Prior experience working in a school setting is an advantage - fresh graduates are welcome to apply Able to commit to Monday-Friday morning schedule (7:30am-2:00pm) What You'll Get Stable 2-year contract with a reputable primary school Morning-only hours - work-life balance friendly Supportive school environment The Talent People Pte.
