This driver board is specifically designed for recording studios and professional audio equipment, supporting dual-channel unbalanced input. Based on the original circuit principle, we have optimized the wiring and added a high-impedance buffer circuit at the input end, significantly increasing the input impedance with minimal impact on the front-end system. The performance of the imitation product is satisfactory.
The core circuit adopts full-wave precision rectification without compression processing, truly reproducing the dynamic changes in voltage levels. The board is equipped with a primary amplification stage, offering a wide range of applications and high sensitivity. With an input dynamic range of up to 60dB, it can even be used as a power meter driver for 100W/8Ω power amplifiers after adjusting the parameters.

The pointer acceleration and dynamic damping control are the standout features of this board: it starts quickly and sharply, with an exceptional ability to capture minute signals; the return swing is slow and gentle, and the pointer moves with lightness and fluidity. It completely eliminates the drawbacks of ordinary drive circuits, such as sluggishness and pointer lag in response to pulse signals. Addressing the issue of impact signals easily generated during the startup and shutdown of field-effect transistor (FET) chips, the on-board startup delay connection and shutdown instantaneous disconnection protection circuit (utilizing a 12V relay) has essentially eliminated the pointer overshoot phenomenon during startup and shutdown, resulting in a higher degree of product completion.
