Synopsis of *The Purge 2: Anarchy*:

In 2023, the "Purge" program implemented by the new US government has entered its sixth year. This extreme policy, aimed at curbing rising unemployment and crime rates, has resulted in the deaths of more and more innocent people, while the wealthy enjoy the annual massacre with seemingly noble and elegant attitudes. As the massacre is about to begin, Shane (Zach Gilford) and Liz (Kiele Sanchez), a couple facing a breakup, find their car broken down and frantically search for hiding places. Eva (Carmen Ejogo) and her daughter Carly (Zoë Soul), having just lost their most beloved family member, find themselves facing imminent disaster even while hiding at home.
