Food Promotor, Kallang

As Food Promoter, you are the face of
Jin Mai Lang
at the retail level. Your primary goal is to engage customers, share product benefits, and encourage immediate purchase through professional sampling and active selling. Key Responsibilities
Product Sampling:
Set up the promotion booth and prepare food samples (cooking instant noodles) according to hygiene standards.
Customer Engagement:
Proactively approach shoppers to introduce the Jin Mai Lang brand and our unique product features.
Drive Sales:
Convert interest into sales by highlighting ongoing promotions (e.g., 'Buy 2 for $X') and directing customers to the shelf.
Stock Management:
Monitor stock levels on the shelves during your shift and alert the store manager or supervisor if replenishment is needed.
Reporting:
Take photos of the set-up and provide a simple daily sales report (number of packs sold/samples given out) to the Account Director.
Cleanliness:
Maintain a clean and tidy sampling station at all times in compliance with food safety regulations. Certification:
Possession of a valid
Food Services (Level 1) Food Safety Course
certificate is mandatory.
Experience:
Prior experience in roadshows, supermarket promotions, or retail sales is preferred but not required.
Communication:
Friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to speak English and/or Mandarin (to assist various customer profiles).
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (up to 8 hours).
Reliability:
Punctual and committed to the assigned schedule.
