Preschool English Teacher / Early Childhood Educator
Key Responsibilities
Provide children with high-quality play-based, inquiry-based, and exploratory learning experiences.
Implement a
STEAM-focused curriculum
to encourage curiosity, creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Create a safe, supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
Manage classroom routines, behaviour, transitions, and learning activities effectively.
Regularly observe and assess each child's learning progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate learning records and documentation.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's learning progress, development, and well-being.
Work closely with parents to support children's learning both in school and at home.
Collaborate effectively with fellow teachers, assistant teachers, and support staff.
Participate in school events, lesson planning, meetings, and professional development when required.
Requirements
Minimum
L2 certification
is required.
Diploma in
Early Childhood Care and Education - Teaching (DPE-T)
or equivalent.
Bachelor's Degree in
Early Childhood Education (ECE)
is preferred.
Relevant working experience with young children.
Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Good classroom management skills.
Patient, creative, responsible, caring, and passionate about early childhood education.
Able to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Comfortable implementing play-based and STEAM-related learning activities.
