Job Summary The Service Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of service jobs, including repairs, troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of navigation and communication equipment. This role ensures high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction, from initial inquiry to job completion, while managing internal teams or outsourcing when necessary. Responsibilities Proactively respond to customer inquiries and complaints to resolve issues with sustainable, long-term solutions Take ownership of service projects upon purchase order confirmation and assign tasks to service engineers or external vendors to ensure timely execution Collaborate with the Sales Manager and Service Engineers to monitor and secure availability of spare parts, preventing project delays due to supply shortages Develop and manage daily service job schedules, coordinating with engineering teams and Sales Manager to meet customer requirements and deadlines Ensure service jobs are executed promptly and meet customer specifications while maintaining high-quality standards Represent the company professionally in all interactions, upholding performance, safety, quality, and customer service standards Drive continuous improvement by reviewing service reports submitted by engineering teams and providing actionable feedback Partner with the Sales Manager and Finance team to ensure accurate customer invoicing aligned with Thawe Marine's profitability goals Ensure full compliance with all export guidelines and industry regulations throughout service job execution Required competencies and certifications Demonstrate professionalism and maintain a positive, responsible attitude in all role aspects Communicate clearly and effectively in English, both orally and in writing, to convey information accurately Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal teams through strong interpersonal skills Apply strong problem-solving skills to resolve operational issues efficiently and maintain service quality Lead and manage teams effectively to achieve service delivery objectives and customer satisfaction Preferred competencies and qualifications 1-2 years of experience in customer service or coordination roles, preferably within the maritime industry Familiarity with shipbuilding, oil and gas (rigs, refineries), or naval-related industries Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electronic or Electrical Engineering Diploma or certification in IT, Electrical, or Electronics
