PROCESS AUTOMATION ENGINEER, Kampong Ubi

PROCESS AUTOMATION ENGINEER -CE PLC Assist engineering teams in executing system engineering on-site, both internal and customer acceptance & PLC Programming of medium complexity projects, under supervision. Execute commissioning activities under the supervision of Senior Commissioning Engineer in all types of projects sizes and complexities, efficiently, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Responsibilities Participates in initial System Design Review in collaboration with engineering specialists using PLC software.
Prepares PLC programs integrating subroutines, programs and device mapping.
Supports commissioning, design changes and provision of marks-up as-built project documentation.
Participates in PLC Code reviews and audits.
Supports continuous improvement of project process/product/ system design via provision of lessons learned feedback.
Ensure accurate application and implementation of standard processes and tools in preparing accurate PLC programing.
Support in conducting risk and opportunity assessments during the commissioning phase and in handling technical risks by following mitigation guidelines.
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation) preferred
Willingness to travel
Good English communication skills
Atleast 3 years of experience programming Honeywell Control EDGE PLC's
Good HMI/SCADA Graphics development experience
Knowledge and field experience of MODBUS TCP/IP communication with 3rd party systems.
Good experience and knowledge of PLC integration with DCS (especially Honeywell PKS)
Experience on Offshore (FPSO) projects will be preferred.
Note
: Overseas travel with Offshore commissioning visits will be required.
